About Loz Pierotti

Emerging feminist artist

Loz (she/they) is a neurodivergent, queer, emerging artist, working in Naarm/Melbourne.

Her work focuses on identity, cultural heritage, and can be characterised by bright bold colours. Loz work transcends across many mediums but she mainly works as a Linocut block printer and oil painter. She also enjoys working with textile and has recently been exploring embroidery and textile printing and painting on ceramics.

Loz learnt oil painting at a young age and fell in love with the medium. Her passion for art grew throughout her teenage years while at high school, exploring art forms like block printing and textiles. After a career in retail as a visual merchandiser, along with working as an Allied health assistant, Loz returned to producing artwork full-time in 2022. She is a passionate painter and printer finding purpose in the visual arts industry.

Loz is currently working out of Easy Street Artist Studios in Collingwood and has been heavily involved with arts, crafts and makers markets around Naarm/Melbourne.
